Participation in the Owner Survey was Strong.

  • Over 400 surveys were returned of which we could use 390.
  • All owners responded at a rate of 27.4%
  • adjoining owners responded at 64%

Those not used were either postmarked after Nov 10 or did not select a single option for each street. We used the phone numbers that owners submitted to clarify some but not all calls were answered or messages returned.

  • Blue for the narrow (23') design with No sidewalk.
  • Red is the preference for narrow (23') with One (1) Sidewalk.
  • Green wide (27') No Sidewalk.
  • Purple are the preferences for wide (27') with One (1) Sidewalk.
  • Light blue is the prererences for wide (27') with Two (2) Sidewalks.

Observations

  • Owners adjoining Alba and Golf responded at more than double the rate of the neighborhood as a whole.
  • Preferences for Golf options are almost identical for Alba.
  • Preferences were very similar in all 5 sections.
  • Overall Preference for "No sidewalk" options totaled 64% versus 36% for some sidewalk
  • Overall Narrow street preferences totaled 81% versus 19% for a Wide street.
  • Alba and Golf adjoining owners prefered narrow, no sidewalk at 90%
